My goal is to provide a warm, safe space to enable you to get to the heart of the problem that brings you to therapy so that you can live more of the life you want, free of any patterns from the past that are holding you back.
I don't have a prescriptive approach. Everyone who comes to counselling has their own story. They have their own unique worries or concerns which they may not have been able to share these with anyone else. Some people find that talking through an issue is sufficient. Others find that using art, the imagination or imagery work can be more useful ways of exploring thoughts or memories.
It is common to feel nervous about starting counselling or therapy. You may be worried about sharing your innermost fears or feel that your issues aren't bad enough for therapy - that others are worse off than you. Nothing could be further from the truth: whatever is troubling you, I am here to walk beside you as we uncover ways for you to live more fully.
